About the finish
This is the smooth leather-grain vinyl BMW used on seats, door cards and trim. The factory also used a pinhole-perforated version of most colors on seat centers - ask us if your interior needs the perforated match.
Which colors suit your car
The palette changed with the E30 in 1983 - the factory even re-numbered its carried-over colors. Black, Marine Blue, Buckskin, Parchment, Pearl Beige (0156) and Pacific belong to the 1970-1982 cars; Silver, Havanna, Pearl Beige (0165), Black (0166), Cardinal Red, Indigo and Natural to the 1983-1993 cars; Carmine spans both. The color matches on this page are our best guesses, built from factory color charts and the supplier codes the restoration trade uses. They are not guaranteed to match your interior. Vinyl varies by batch, your original trim has aged, and printed color charts are approximate. We do not accept returns of cut vinyl because the color does not match your interior. That is exactly what samples are for: order a swatch of any color, hold it against your trim in daylight, and then order the vinyl.
